Workflow Workshop: Schedule, Dispatch and Invoice Jobs Without Retyping | Nov 3, 2026
A job you’ve already quoted shouldn’t need retyping to get it scheduled, finished and invoiced. In this session, Yemi and Errol from Method CRM run a day of field jobs, with Errol as the dispatcher and Yemi as the technician. Errol logs a customer’s call, builds a $725 estimate that syncs to QuickBooks right away, and turns it into a work order that carries over everything from the estimate. He assigns it to Yemi and routes her day’s jobs on a map, with a start time and a driving order. Yemi works the job in the Field Crew app: she starts a timer, texts the customer that she’s on the way, adds a part and captures a signature.
Back in the office, Errol invoices every finished work order in one batch. Each customer gets their own invoice, and they all land in QuickBooks right away. The Q&A covers how fast QuickBooks Desktop should sync, saving more than one job site for a customer, and choosing which transactions go to QuickBooks. The session ends with Method AI: Errol asks it to move the add-estimate button below the grid and to add a filter for estimates of $100 or more. He then shows where admins find Method’s API.
The Workflow Workshop runs live every Tuesday at 1 p.m. ET. Sign up here.
