Donation reports

Donation reports are used to break down donors and their donations during a given time period. These reports are useful for internal record-keeping and auditing purposes, but they are also useful for your donors, who may require a full list of their contributions for tax purposes.

The Donation Reports section of Method's Donations App allows you to generate a report for all donations a given date range. You can also create donor summary letters for individuals and for multiple donors. The following steps will show you how to complete these processes.

It is recommended you ensure popups are allowed for Method, or some of the following steps may not work as intended.

Accessing Donation Reports

You can get to donation reports in two ways:

  1. From your Method dashboard, click the vertical ellipsis (...) on your Donations App and select Reports.
  2. On the Donations List page, you will find Donation Reports & Letter underneath the grid.

You will be taken to the Donation Reports screen.
