An icon object is a Method-created symbol you can insert into your screen. Some of these are used in Method best practices when designing screens (see our 101Missions section for more details), but ultimately they can be used however you want to denote elements of your screen.
Caption: What is your control called? Name it here!
Hide Caption: If you’re just labeling your control for your own information but don’t want the text to show in the live screen, check this box.
Load State: When the screen loads, what happens to the control? Is it clickable? Then it’s Regular. Disabled? It’s there but you can’t use it (it’s greyed-out). Or, if you prefer, you could make the control Hidden in the live screen.
Icon: Choose the icon you wish to have displayed.
Rotation: An icon can be rotated and flipped; choose your angles here
Icon colors: Change the color of your icon by choosing from the Method palette.
Icon size: Size your icon from xxx-small to xxx-large.
Caption color/size/text align: Choose the color, size, and alignment of the text in your caption.
