You've prepared your template and gathered your list; just a few more steps before you're ready to launch!
Before you send your email, you're given the option to create an activity for every contact on your filtered list.
Method best practice says you should keep track of all your interactions with leads and customers, including when you send them emails, so it's a good idea to click this option to create an outgoing email activity for each contact. The steps to create this activity are the same as in the Activities App, so to learn how to create an activity, click here.
You are also given the option to create a follow-up activity, which can be very useful if the email you're sending out is time-sensitive or requires feedback. Click Schedule a follow-up activity and fill out the fields as normal (you can learn more about follow-up activities by clicking here.)
