Link more to opportunities

Method allows you to link a variety of information to a sales opportunity. This allows you and your team to see a record of every interaction and transaction that's taken place as a given sales opportunity advances through the pipeline toward a successful sale. The following is a list of information commonly linked to a sales opportunity.

Activities

Activities are used to track your interactions with current and potential customers. In Method, you can link specific activities to the sales opportunities they pertain to, directly from this app. To link an activity See Create an activity for more details.

All activities linked to an opportunity can be viewed from the Edit Opportunity screen using the activities app ribbon.

Estimates

When your prospective customer asks for a quote, you can create and link an estimate to a given opportunity. See Create an estimate for more details.

All estimates linked to an opportunity can be viewed from the Edit Opportunity screen using the estimates app ribbon.

Sales orders

Sometimes, in the course of fulfilling the obligations of a sale, QuickBooks Desktop users must create a sales order. You can create and link a sales order to an opportunity, as part of the Proposal/Price Quote stage. See Create a sales order for more details.

All sales orders linked to an opportunity can be viewed from the Edit Opportunity screen using the sales orders app ribbon.

Invoices

If your opportunity reaches the closed won stage, an invoice is required. Linking that invoice to this opportunity helps you keep track of where your revenue is coming from. See Create an invoice for more details.
